This bus of the late twenties, early thirties, is not a Milford Twp School bus but it's probably very much like those in service at Milford. It would appear that it's a modified truck chassis with the adaptation much more obvious than those of the present time. Note the lack of bumpers, both front and back. Looks like a good "mudder" though. Drivers begin on page 175. See bus interior page 338. Above: Harriet `47 and Richard `42 Comfort take a picture-time break on the running board of the family automobile. Above: Harriet, Hattie, Paul, and Richard Comfort in about 1943. They lived a mile and a quarter north of the School on the west side of the road. Also page 217. Left: This dim picture captures a moment in the dim past as Paul and his best gal, Hattie, go for a buggy ride on a beautiful day in their "courtin'" days around the time of the First World War.
