Boy Scouts this year are Mike Amenson, Benjie Anderson, Brian Anderson, David Anderson, Scott Anderson, Tim Anderson, Deon Baker, Larry Borton, Scott Hall, Garmie Herigstad, Marty Jacobs, Daniel Jacobson, Douglas Johnson, Terry Johnson, Gary Mann, Rodney Mann, George Martin, Brian McKernan, Michael McKernan, Doug McWilliams, Craig McWilliams, Allen Peckham, Craig Peter, Kyle Peter, Galen Stole, Terry Tjelmeland, and Thomas Troxel. The Boy Scouts of Roland have been active off and on for many years.
This large cottonwood tree stood in the center of the four corners of Howard, Milford, Richland and Warren Townships. It became a hazard to the auto, and was cut down in September of 1923. The tree measured more than six feet in diameter and 17 feet in circumference.
