Andrew H. Twedt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hans J. Twedt, was married March 16, 1893 to Christina Wicks, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hactor T. Wicks.

HANS J. Twedt
Hans J. Twedt was born in Kvindherred, Norway, August 25, 1825. He was married to Anna Abela, and the couple emigrated to America in 1854, settling northeast of Roland, Iowa in 1856. They were the parents of two children, Ole and Hattie.
After the death of his first wife, Mr. Twedt married Julie (Gjore) Ersland, and 11 children were born to them, Abel H., Jane Twedt Amdahl, Joe H., Carrie, Sam H., Carl, Andrew H., Henry H., Hans, Johannes, and Julia Twedt Osheim.
JOE H. Twedt
Joe H. Twedt was born in a log cabin one mile east of Roland, the son of Hans and Guri Twedt. He married Beillre Pierson in April 1894, and they lived their entire married lives on the Twedt homestead. Their children are Howard, Mamie, Fern, Rosie, Otis, Joseph, Ruth, Merle, Otto and Mayme.
