Junior Class Play: Don Snyder, Cindy Smith, Sandy Dodd, Jim Wright, Darcy Tjelmeland, Mike McDermott, John Findlay, Terry Hugen, Jim Atwood, Phyllis McQuiston. 1976 Junior Class presented "The Antics of Andrew" for their junior class play. It was directed by Mr. Dennis Miller. The cast was as follows: Sandy Dodd - Petunia; Jim Wright - Andrew Brown; Donnie Snyder -- Jacques; Mike McDermott - Willie Waldo; Jim Atwood - Harold Hadley; Darcy Tjelmeland - Althea Thorne; Chris Dunshee - Julie Boynton; Phyllis McQuiston - Betty Boynton; Ronald Holsinger - Rev. Senior Class Play - The Collins Senior class did something a little different this year. Instead of presenting a regular play, they presented a melodrama. Two plays were presented along with olio's, a song by a few of the fourth graders, and the announcement of winners of the bicentennial poster contest.
Both plays directed by Mr. Miller.
The first play was SHAGWOOD'S SECRET, which had the following cast: Delores Devine--Pat Reitan, Cyril C. Snerdley--Steve Oglesby, Ethelburt Shagwood--Steve Lillard, Snake Diamond--Jim Anderson, Cloe Clodhopper--Ruth Baker. Dolores Klemme played the piano.
The second play was DARK DOINGS AT THE CROSSROADS, which had this cast: Laurinda Kerplunk--Dolores Klemme, Augustus Kerplunk--Jim Anderson, Bartholomew Wow--Bob Huntrods, Jack Dalton--Steve Lillard, Theodonia Tadpole--Graciela Hernandez, the train--Ruth Baker and Pat Reitan, and the director Steve Oglesby.
