March 26, 1975. Nevada Invitational BasketBall Tourney - Six grade girls division: Kelly 54, Collins 42 in one of the top games of the 1st round. Karen Stratton scored 26 points, 22 of the points in the 2nd half, Karen Partridge 12, Julie Milligan 2, Janice Brafford 2. Collins guards: Shiela Raines, Kristy Richardson, Kim Romp, Karen Smith.

March 27, 1975. Nevada Invitational Tourney - Seventh grade girls division: Ballard A verses Collins at Milford on April 4. Sixth grade boys: Collins verses Nevada No. 3 at Milford on March 31.

March 28, 1975. Nevada Invitational Tourney - Seventh grade boys division: Nevada No. 1 verses Collins at field house on March 31.

April 2, 1975. Ta-Ma-Ja All Star Conference Cindy Dunshee, the Clipperettes' high scoring senior forward, was named to the girls first team and Denny Long was named to the boys first team. Collins also placed three players in Honorable Mention: Girls - Cindy Tiffany and Cathy Schmitt, both senior guards and Boys -- Steve Lillard.

April 2, 1975. Nevada Invitational BasketBall concludes Friday, Saturday. Sixth grade boys Collins vs Colo at field house 7:00 p.m. April 4. Seventh grade girls Collins vs Ballard A at Milford 9:00 p.m.

April 5, 1975. Nevada Invitational Tournaments -- 7th grade girls. Collins came up with the first major upset of the tournament as the little Clipperettes took a commanding lead in the first period and held on to defeat a powerful Ballard 7th grade girls team 30-21 in semifinal round action. Collins took a 10-2 lead in the first quarter and Ballard could get no closer than 8 points. Collins had excellent scoring balance. Jean Huntrods 14 and J Brafford 8, and Tracy Hofer 8. Also playing for the Clipperetees were Karen Barrett, Karen Stratton, Rhonda Smith, Alice Coughenour and Karen Partridge.

Collins played a tight zone defense on Colo and moved into the finals of the sixth grade boys division, 19-9. Collins was safely in control through most of the 2nd half. Collins scoring: Bill Dunshee 6, Dave Ball 4, Jim Huggins 4, Mike Sexton 3, Kirk Cheville 2. Mike Robinson and Mark Hudson also played.

April 7, 1975. Honor Roll. April 7, 1975. Nevada Invitational Tournament -- 6th grade boys championship finals. Gilbert defeated Collins in an overtime game 26-23. Gilbert rallied in the last 2 minutes of the game to tie the game and achieve the victory in overtime. Collins scoring: Bill Dunshee 11, Jim Huggins 6, Mike Sexton 6. Dave Ball, Kirk Cheville, Mike Robinson, Tony Yockstick also saw action.
