February 1, 1975. Baxter was too much for Collins Clippers in Ta-Ma-Ja Conference action, 75-35. Collins scoring: Steve Lillard 9, Matt Carver 7, Mike Ball 4, Steve Oglesby 4, Bob Huntrods, Jim Wright, Kirk Patterson, Doug Klemme, and Denny Long, each had 2 points. Rebounding: Carver 10, Long 5, Huntrods 3, Lillard 2, Ball 2. "We broke their press and got good shots, but we missed a lot of layups," said Collins Coach Ron McNeill.

February 4, 1975. Cindy Dunshee poured in a career high 47 points and her shot in the last minute resulted in the Clipperette win over Baxter 67-65 in Ta-Ma-Ja Conference game. Other scoring: Chris Dunshee 16, Julie Lehman 4. Guard Rebounding: Cathy Schmitt, Cindy Tiffany 11, Mary Beth Kingman 3, Sue Long 3.

February 5, 1975. Collins girls rallied from behind in the last quarter to even their conference mark to 6-6 with a 64-62 win over Mingo in a Ta-Ma-Ja Conference game at Collins. Mingo led 31-29 at halftime and led by 11 points in the 3rd period. The Clipperettes had a 64-61 lead in the final minute and Mingo was unable to score: Scoring: Cindy Dunshee 39, Chris Dunshee 15, Julie Lehman 10. Both teams shot well: Mingo 49%, Collins 46%. Collins made 16 of 21 free throws. Guard Rebounding: Mary Beth Kingman 11, Cindy Tiffany 9, Cathy Schmitt 7. "The guards played one of their smartest games, pressing all the way," said Coach Bill Brooks.

The Collins boys came up with their most impressive performance of the year, breaking open a 41-41 game in the final 4 minutes to stop Mingo 55-45 in Ta-Ma-Ja action. Collins led 27-23 at halftime. This is the Clippers 2nd win of the season. Scoring: Denny Long 17, Steve Oglesby 14, Steve Lillard 11, Mike Ball 5, Bob Huntrods 5, Matt Carver 2, Jim Wright 1, Jim Anderson 1. Rebounding: Denny Long 11, Matt Carver 10, Bob Huntrods 7, Mike Ball 6.

February 8, 1975. Cindy Dunshee poured in career high 61 points, including 36 in the 2nd half to pull Collins girls from behind to an 88-77 win over Colo in a Ta-Ma-Ja Conference game. Dunshee connected on 21 of 34 shots and 19 of 21 free throws to set new personal high. Colo led 48-39 at halftime. Other Scoring: Chris Dunshee 16, Julie Lehman 11. The Collins girls' field goal shooting was 55%. Guard Rebounding: Cathy Schmitt 9, Mary Beth Kingman 8, Cindy Tiffany 4.

The Colo boys had a strong 1st quarter for 24-9 lead and controlled the balance of the game. Collins scoring: Denny Long 14, Steve Lillard 11, Mike Ball 10, Matt Carver 6, Bob Huntrods 3. Colo had a decisive margin in rebounds -- 51-23.

February 12, 1975. Collins girls ran into a powerful Green Mountain team with 92-59 non-conference game loss at Collins. Scoring: Cindy Dunshee 26, Chris Dunshee 23, Julie Lehman 9, Tracy Thornton 1. Guard Rebounds: Cathy Schmitt 8, Mary Beth Kingman 7, Cindy Tiffany 6. The Clipperettes finished their regular season with an 8-8 record and finished 7-7 in the Ta-Ma-Ja Conference.

Collins boys ended their regular season with a 59-51 loss to Green Mountain in a non-conference game. Clippers concluded the season 2-15. Green Mountain took 34-24 halftime lead and controlled the balance of the game. Scoring: Denny Long 16, Steve Lillard 13, Steve Oglesby 10, Mike Ball 4, Bob Huntrods 4, Jim Wright 4. Rebounds: Denny Long 10, Mike Ball 9, Matt Carver 7, Bob Huntrods 5. Collins will face Madrid in the Sectional Tourney.
