January 28, 1970 Basketball - Collins girls posted their second straight victory with Joan Altes hitting a bucket in the final 15 seconds for a 73-72 win over Steamboat Rock. Collins avenged an earlier 80-56 loss. Playing their best overall game of the season, Collins took a 16-14 1st quarter lead and had a 38-34 halftime margin. The game was 57-57 after three periods and continued back and forth with Collins' final basket the margin of victory.
