May 17, 1969 Baccalaureate will be in the school auditorium/gymnasium May 18. The Rev. Wilton Grant of United Methodist Church will be the speaker assisted by Rev. Schaeffer of the Christian Church.
Commencement for the 27 graduates will be in the Collins auditorium/gymnasium on May 19 with Bernie Saggau, boys Iowa High School Athletic Association, as speaker.
May 20, 1969 Commencement Speaker Bernie Saggau of the Iowa High School Athletic Association message to the seniors: "Be what you want to be and do not let yourself be led astray by something that only means money." Saggau described himself as a "happy man" because he has everything he wants in his job and his family and urged his hearers to follow the same path in order to have a full and rewarding life. Richard Dexter, school principal, presented Valedictorian honors to Mary E. Rice and Salutatorian honors to JoAnn Novinger. Supt. T. J.
