Spring Baseball Collins lost its first game of the season Tuesday at St. Marys of Marshalltown, 7-1.

No further information found on the game results and tournaments. Also no lineup and/or roster information found. (Insert 2010: It appears that spring baseball and also fall baseball is being replaced by school summer baseball program.)
May 5, 1966 Collins Alumni Banquet will be held Saturday night May 21 at 6:30 in the lunchroom of good old Collins High. All alumni are invited to come. The ladies of the Methodist Church will be preparing and serving the dinner. Classes of 1915 and 1941 will be honored. The program will be in the auditorium/gym following the banquet. The dance will be in the lunchroom with music furnished by the High School Dance Band and the Junior High Combo. Banquet is $1.75 and the dance is .75 per person. May 12, 1966 Collins Boys Track Team scored a Triangular victory over Ballard varsity, Boone Sacred Heart at Huxley (Ballard School). Collins swept the open running events as Ray Sheibly and Jim Lehman combined to take 1st and 2nd in the 100 and 220 yard dashes. Bill Christian and Lee Huntrods gained 1st and 3rd in the 440 yard run, and Kevan Stratton won the 880 and mile run. Collins also took 1st in the sprint relay and Jim Lehman was 1st in the long jump.
