March 3, 1960 Kookie's Komments - The seniors have their annual made up and sent it in to the publishers. The senior class play "Boarding House Reach" will be presented in the school auditorium/gym March 25. Plan to attend.
Music News - The marching band has started practicing two mornings a week. The band plans to march in the Drake Relays Parade April 30.

March 10, 1960 Legal Notice - Proposed School District Notice of time to file objections to the formation of a reorganized school district to be known as the "Collins Community School District" in the counties of Story, Marshall, and Jasper, State of Iowa, which will include all of the present "Collins Consolidated School District" of Story and Marshall Counties, all of Pleasant Grove and Harsh districts in Jasper County and part of Ashton School District in Jasper County, all in the State of Iowa, and to the determination of the method of election of directors, which shall be four directors elected to represent four director districts and one director at large, all directors elected by the electors of the entire proposed school district and to the establishing of the boundaries of the four proposed director districts:
