In Language we are learning the correct use of "is" and "are;" "was" and "were." Junior High: 8th - In English we are studying compound sentences and conjunctions that are used with them. In American History we are studying science and inventions during the 1800's.

January 24, 1957 Music News: Last Wednesday evening a band concert was held in the school auditorium. The junior band played five numbers and the senior band played nine. During the intermission there were solos by Verlyn Noring, Mary Duesbury, John Tiffany; two numbers by the clarinet quartet of Mary Ann Kearns, Sharon Kelderhouse, Edward Smith, and Gary Smith. Accompanying the solos were Mary Ann Kearns and Mr. Kenyon Bell.
